OumaMuga Voice (OMV) was created out of a passion and deep knowledge of human behaviour and the desire to empower people to proactively define and live with intentionality and purpose. A passion founded on 17 years experience “in the ditches” working with, and in, some of the most successful corporate and family businesses in Kenya and the Region.
Peter has had the incredible fortune, working with some smart people – over 17 years – and counting. During which period, he has had Board-level interface and exposure, as a trusted advisor and human resources partner to CEO / C-suite teams in private and family-owned businesses. A track record including working with senior management (CEOs, MDs, GMs etc) planning, developing, and executing robust human resources programs / roadmaps to ensure effective linking of employees and systems to deliver the business strategy and priorities.

Throughout his career he has developed plans, provided insights and direction, to multi-generational family-owned businesses to deal with their issues, written case studies and feature pieces, conducted research, organised and run events and developed multi-generational strategies for family businesses. And now years later, from a consultant providing human capital advisory support with various multi-national professional service firms, where he supported a portfolio of family-owned businesses, to career opportunities as human resources practitioner in in industry. He still have the ITCH TO LEARN, UNDERSTAND AND TO SOLVE.
A Member of the Institute For Human Resources Kenya (IHRM), he holds a postgraduate degree in Psychology (organizational behavior). He is a regular columnist in the dailies on family business and is also a co-founder of The Family Business. A magazine, which consistent with the Tagline – Service to Family Business – specializes in stories and solutions for wealth preservation for entrepreneurs and multi-generational family-owned businesses. Where he heads the editorial team. Peter is passionate about the family, entrepreneurship and family business sector in the region.
He regularly undertakes research projects, interviews family businesses for written features and releases and has created and organized innovative family business events.
